What you will be doing:

  • The Water Sales Manager position develops and conducts company training to assure continuous increases in customer sales, prompt and accurate dispatch of incoming orders, customer follow up, satisfaction and referrals.
  • This position is aware of the importance of incentive programs and ensures fair and equitable distribution and proper documentation of work while maintaining a healthy, vibrant, enthusiastic work environment.
  • This position develops and maintains an effective sales training program and associated materials and other duties that may be assigned.
  • This position will be leading a multi-state existing sales team as well as hiring additional staff.
  • Development of strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control the sales program to achieve corporate goals.
  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Designs and implements a sales rehash program with pending customers.
  • Manages convention, show, and trade association meetings and assign appropriate staffing to promote customer appointments and product sales.
  • Devotes a minimum of 8 hours/week in the field evaluating presentations, meeting with key clients, assisting Water Specialists with relationships, negotiating, and closing contracts.
  • Acts as liaison between the sales division and other related units.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Assists other departments within the organization by preparing policy and procedure manuals and publications.
  • Directs or prepares sales reporting as required by management, showing sales volume, close ratios, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion and cost of sales and marketing.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition, reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Responsible for projecting a professional image and assuring use of the company prepared scripts and presentations.
  • Reviews commissions, bonuses, sales allowances, and discount programs.
  • Reviews and present weekly performance statistics for the sales division.
  • Works with Water Specialists to improve closing ratios.
  • Works on strategic sales training programs.
  • Work to increase the KPIs of the Water Specialists and the Sales department.
  • Projects a enthusiastic work environment.
  • Motivates the Water Specialists.
  • Regular, predictable onsite attendance is expected.

  • Must have good computer, Ipad, and computer skills.
  • Must be able to develop a good sales training program.
  • Must be able to work well with customers, Water Specialists, managers, and other co-workers.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:

  • BA or BS degree with 2 years’ experience in sales management or four years’ experience in employee relations, performance reviews and conflict resolution.
